IGI 2 Covert Strike

Introduction

Project IGI 2: Covert Strike is a tactical first-person shooter video game developed by Innerloop Studios and published by Codemasters in 2003. It is the sequel to the successful Project IGI: I’m Going In, which was released in 2000. The game is set in various locations around the world and follows the story of Jones, a former SAS operative who is now working as a freelancer for the Institute for Geotactical Intelligence (IGI).

Gameplay

One of the key features of the game is its emphasis on stealth and the need to avoid detection. The player must use stealth to avoid being seen by enemies, and if they are spotted, they must quickly hide or escape to avoid being caught. The player also has a variety of weapons at their disposal, including pistols, assault rifles, and grenades, which they can use to eliminate enemies. The game also features a variety of vehicles such as cars, boats, and helicopters that the player can use to travel between missions and reach objectives. These vehicles can also be used to evade or eliminate enemies.

However, some reviewers criticized the game’s lack of a proper tutorial and the fact that the player could only save their progress at certain points in the game.

In conclusion, Project IGI 2: Covert Strike is considered a classic in the tactical first-person shooter genre. Its emphasis on stealth and tactical gameplay, along with its challenging AI, made it a favorite among players. Although the game is an old one, it still has a dedicated fanbase and is remembered as one of the best stealth-action games of its time.

My experience: When I have played IG1 2 first time, it was great experience. My compurer system was pentium 3 with 128 MB RAM. My favourite job in this game was to shoot all cameras and silently kill guards. Although it was difficult , but after removing all security cameras, this game was quite easy. Usually missions of this games end in a control room, where you need to reach a computer system and need to operate it to perform your task.

The weapons which are used in this game are handguns, sniper rifles, assault rifles, RPGs and light machine guns. You can change your weapon using numeric keys. IGI 2 is similar to Delta Force 1, Delta Force 2 and other shooter games. Download it now and enjoy. If this download link is not working, please let us know in comment. (Review by PCFavour)
